We have an exciting role available for an Allocator to join our growing team based in Waterloo NSW! You will be responsible for allocation of merchandise to stores, this role supports the achievement of budgeted sales, gross profit and inventory productivity measures through accurate allocations. With an analytical approach to allocation accuracy this role has the opportunity to directly influence our profitability.

TO BE SUCCESSFUL YOU WILL IDEALLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS:

  • The ability to understand data and analytics and make recommendations as a result.
  • A good understanding of merchandise inventory basics.
  • Ability to take a proactive approach and think strategically.
  • Strong understanding/ experience of the retail industry and environment highly regarded
  • Excellent attention to detail including accurate, thorough, and able to monitor work for quality
  • Highly Dynamic and adaptable work ethic
  • Collaborative and strong interpersonal skills
  • Able to be dependable, follow instructions, respond to management direction.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities:

THE ROLE WILL BE INVOLVED IN THE FOLLOWING:

  • Allocating and Replenishing stock to stores.
  • Analysis.
  • Monitoring and maintaining stock levels in-store.
  • Inventory management and control

YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Allocation of stock to stores.
  • Maintaining store profiles.
  • Monitoring and managing receipts and deliveries into store and DC.
  • Monitoring warehouse stock and managing replenishment to stores.
  • Analysing sales trends and identifying opportunities and risks.
  • Size, store and profile analysis.
  • Consolidation of best sellers/last pairs and fragmented lines.
  • Analysing impacts of allocation decisions and making recommendations as a result.
  • Co-ordination of New Stores Stock Package
