WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

You will bring your educational background in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Engineering, or other related fields with 3-5 years of experience inside a purchasing department or other related experience to the category.
You are showing an analytical mindset with strong communication, reporting and negotiation skills.
Moreover, your knowledge of the Global Packaging market, price agreements, principal manufacturing and sustainability processes will be key for this role.
Fast learner, you are demonstrating enthusiasm and commitment to excellence with a result-oriented approach.
On top of this, you will bring your proficiency in MS Office skills Advanced in Excel, knowledge of SAP ERP and your fluency in English.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

For our Ferrero Luxembourg HQ, we are currently looking for an Aluminium Buyer to join the Procurement Packaging team.
By covering this position, you will guarantee purchase of goods, materials and services in accordance with defined guidelines to ensure that the company operational needs are met, considering price, quality and delivery and to ensure continuity of supply running the purchase order with a set supplier base.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, you will contribute to the definition of the purchasing strategy for Aluminium, based on business needs. You will support the Category Manager in the negotiation of goods and in the definition of the contracts.
For specific projects, you will be involved in financial planning, ensuring alignment between proper budget management and raw materials purchasing business objectives.
Moreover, your responsibility will be to collaborate with other Functions in the definition of policies, quality criteria, legal, environmental, ethical to purchase good while guaranteeing timely information to the other Functions concerning contract framework agreements.
Conducting negotiations with suppliers of the category, in alignment with internal procedures and Ferrero Code of Business Conduct, will be also under your scope.
You will ensure the competition between suppliers and subcontractors even by organizing tenders.
On top of that, you will apply and implement purchasing policies, vendor management and developing policies, based on technical, organizational, economical, and international financial knowledge, to reach the best possible results according to Group requirements in terms of timing and flexibility.
You role will be also to ensure purchase orders management, look for Request for Proposals from vendors, proposing qualified and suitable alternatives. You will analyze, align and evaluate offers received to select the best available alternatives and monitor operative KPIs (service level, quality, etc.).
Finally, your mission will be to maintain, consolidate and improve relationships with existing suppliers, to ensure continuity, manage criticalities and strengthen common objectives.
