JOB SUMMARY

The Aluminium Fabricator is responsible for cutting, shaping, assembling, and installing aluminum components for various applications, including windows, doors, curtain walls, partitions, and structural frameworks. The role requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Education:
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in metal fabrication or welding is preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2–3 years of experience in aluminum fabrication or a related field.
• Experience with various aluminum systems and profiles is a plus.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in using fabrication tools and machinery, including saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Knowledge of aluminum materials, properties, and finishing techniques.
• Soft Skills:
• Attention to detail and precision.
• Strong problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
• Physical Requirements:
• Ability to lift and handle heavy aluminum materials.
• Comfortable working in various conditions, including at heights or outdoors.Work Environment
• Work is typically performed in workshops or at construction sites.
• Requires the use of machinery, tools, and safety equipment in industrial environments.

• Fabrication and Assembly:
• Cut, shape, and assemble aluminum components based on blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Use tools and machinery, such as saws, drills, grinders, and welding equipment, to fabricate aluminum products.
• Measurements and Layouts:
• Accurately measure and mark aluminum sheets and profiles for cutting and fabrication.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to ensure precision and alignment with project requirements.
• Installation:
• Install fabricated aluminum structures on-site, such as windows, doors, facades, and partitions.
• Secure and seal joints to ensure durability and weather resistance.
• Maintenance and Repairs:
• Perform maintenance on aluminum structures to ensure their longevity and functionality.
• Repair damaged aluminum components and restore them to their original specifications.
• Quality Control:
• Inspect completed products to ensure they meet quality standards and client specifications.
• Identify and resolve defects or imperfections in fabricated components.
• Safety and Compliance:
• Follow workplace safety protocols and use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
• Team Collaboration:
• Work closely with designers, engineers, and project managers to meet project deadlines.
• Provide feedback on designs and fabrication processes for improvements.
