The Amazon Sales and Operations Associate is the primary point of contact for all Amazon Seller Central and product listings. This position will work exclusively on our Amazon channel. The Sales and Operations Associate role is new for Beekman 1802, and the ideal candidate would be an inquisitive self-starter and go-getter looking to further develop their Amazon expertise.
As a Sales and Operations Associate, you will report to our Director of E-commerce and sit on the Digital team. This is a fully remote role, on a fully remote team, so excellent, proactive written communication and a willingness to work collaboratively through tools such as Zoom, Asana, and Slack is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • 2-5 years of experience in a related role, ideally in the consumer products or retail industries.
  • Experience in Amazon Seller Central and Amazon product listings.
  • Excellent written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Developing analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and reporting.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelors degree in a related field or equivalent working experience

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain all product listings including full set-up and daily maintenance.
  • Provide recommendations on merchandising, including promotions, select products and discount types for tentpoles and everyday business
  • Manage day to day operations within Amazon Seller Central, including proactive and prompt resolution of all issues, and with our SAS rep
  • Monitor product performance, rankings, ratings, and customer reviews on daily basis
  • Proactively solve Amazon account and listing issues
  • Monitor optimal inventory levels, avoiding stock outs and overstock situations, ensuring high product availability
  • Collaborate with planning teams to ensure inventory availability with consideration for proportionality, safety stock, and overstock
  • Monitor and analyze various programs such as returns, chargebacks, 3rd party sellers
  • Monitor general account health and stay up to date with new Amazon features and launches
  • Collaborate with operations and third-party on capacity, logistics and shipments, and catalog management
  • Manage various programs such as subscribe and save, Vine, cart abandon coupons and Creator Connections
  • Report on sales performance by ASIN and openness to learn some advertising
