Description:
To continue making data accessible and help our clients make strategic business decisions, we are seeking an expert Business Intelligence Engineer with strong client service focus and teamwork skills, good command both of back-end and front-end BI tools, and a true passion for technology.
The person will assure Business Intelligence technical consistency to the solution support, maintenance and evolution, as well as being the point of reference for our customers and the AMS team on Data Quality and Consistency side.
Experience in specific CPG/FMCG sales processes (trade promotions, sales agreement, sales force automation, incentives management, retail execution) will be a valuable plus.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Deep understanding of software applications architecture and infrastructure.
- Advanced knowledge of SQL, TSQL and RDBMS architecture.
- Experience with ETL and data integration as well as DWH data modelling.
- Experience with advance reporting and dashboard design, system testing and support to the user acceptance test (UAT).
- Deep knowledge of Microsoft BI stack: MS SQL, MS Data Factory, MS Analysis Services, MS Power BI.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or information technology.
- Very good level of English (C1)
$70 000 - $85 000 CAD

Responsibilities:
- Write, test, and document well-structured code against designs that scales and meets customers’ functional and non-functional requirements
- Participate in all aspects of BI and reporting software development activities, including design, coding, code review, unit-testing, bug fixing, and operations
- Participate in customer support streams and work closely with the team architects and functional consultants to design, integrate, and implement solutions that align to the customer requirements
- Supervise or contribute to the implementation and the deployment of customer software applications, with focus to Data Warehouse (DWH), Business Intelligence data model and front-end reports.
- Solve and tackle customer problems and software defects related to DWH BI and reporting.
- Formalize Technical Specifications and estimates related to customer enhancements or new requirements
- Engage the customer on User Acceptance Strategy, Planning and Execution
- Responsible to keep DWH, BI and reporting documentation and collaterals up to date
