Description:

Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) is in southeast Queensland and extends through the coastal and hinterland areas from Caloundra in the south and Gympie in the north.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional skilled assistance to the Anaesthetist in the provision of safe and quality anaesthetic care in anaesthetic procedures across the organisation, including the preparation and maintenance of a safe anaesthetic environment.
  • Provide anaesthetic based technical assistance, support and education to the multidisciplinary team.
  • Liaise and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in the maintenance, servicing and troubleshooting of anaesthetic equipment and consumables under the direction and supervision of the Anaesthetic Technician Supervisor.
  • Be responsible for alerting the Anaesthetic Technician Supervisor of concerns and issues relating to equipment and provision of clinical/technical support services
    Remuneration value up to $9532 p.m., comprising salary between $2766 - $3842.70 p.f., employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%) (HP2) (Fixed-Term Temporary Full-Time, 76hrs p.f. for up to 12 months).
