We are looking for an Analog Design Engineer who will enable us to design our next generation of PMUs, closely collaborating with the System and Platform Architecture teams. The responsibilities include contributing to key IP architecture definition as well as its implementation, verification and validation. Support is also expected for prototype evaluation, production test and qualification. You will become part of a hands-on development team that fosters engineering excellence, creativity and innovation.

DESCRIPTION

  • Participate on the definition of key IP architectures including their specification for PMUs - Design and verification of innovative and outstanding circuits for blocks like DC-DC converters and LDOs. - Design best in class circuits and verify compliancy to specification pre and post layout. - Support Layout, DfT, AMS and SiVal teams during all phases of the design. - Drive excellence, support other team members during critical phases and apply your continuous-improvement attitude for design and methodology.

  • Bachelor’s Degree in EE or related field, or equivalent industry experience

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills combined with the ability to collaborate with teams all around the world
  • Ability to work well on a team, take ownership and encourage othersFluent English skills

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong device physics knowledge as it applies to analog IC design
  • Experience with design and validation of switching converters (Buck/Boost) and linear regulators (LDO), including the design of all their sub-blocks, such as gate drivers, bandgaps, bias, opamps, switched-cap circuits, low power oscillators, feedback and compensation techniques
  • Experience in ADCs and/or other Mixed Signal IPs is considered as beneficial
  • Proven track record of delivering silicon IPs with complete architecture, design, verification and validation experience
  • Basic knowledge of IC Production Test and Qualification
  • High level problem solving capabilities shown through the design of innovative IPs
  • Ability to lead and co-ordinate key IPs with limited guidance from manager
