As an analog IC design engineering intern, you’ll be a part of making our customers’ visions a reality. You’ll work on designing innovative analog circuits in the field of power management – switching converters. Ideally you are available for a minimum of a 20 weeks internship starting in the first half of 2025.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Currently pursuing a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Electrical & Computer Engineering
- Good academic record (cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to quickly ramp on new systems and processes
- Experience with Cadence design and simulation tools is preferred
- Basic understanding of analog circuit designs
- Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
- Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Responsibilities:
- Concept evaluation and design of DC-DC converter analog sub-blocks in Cadence Virtuoso
- Partnering with design team to develop mutually agreeable design specifications
- Analyzing trade-offs to ensure spec compliance and superior performance at a competitive cost
- Participating in design reviews and creating the necessary design documentation
- Supervising IC layouts to ensure a high-performance standard
- Characterizing prototypes in the LAB to ensure that the design specifications are met
