Description:

We are offering an opportunity for a Sr. Accountant in the bustling city of Dallas, Texas. This role is key to our team, involving the review and preparation of financials for multi-family properties, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency. Operating within the telecom industry, this position will utilize advanced Excel skills and experience with software like Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite.

Responsibilities:

  • Review financials of multi-family properties, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Prepare financials for multi-family properties, adhering to industry and company standards.
  • Utilize advanced Excel functions such as INDEX MATCH, VLOOKUPS, SUMIFS, and Pivot tables.
  • Leverage experience with Yardi for optimal performance.
  • Ensure account reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation are carried out accurately.
  • Conduct bank reconciliations, maintaining a keen eye for discrepancies.
  • Manage the general ledger, ensuring all entries are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring all transactions are recorded.
  • Oversee month-end close processes, ensuring timelines are met.
  • Utilize software such as Oracle, SAP, and NetSuite for various accounting tasks.
  • Proven experience in a Sr. Accountant role or similar
  • Proficiency in ‘Account Reconciliation’, ‘Balance Sheet Reconciliation’, and ‘Bank Reconciliations’
  • Strong knowledge of ‘General Ledger’ and ‘Journal Entries’
  • Proficient in ‘Microsoft Excel’
  • Experience with ‘Month End Close’ procedures
  • Familiarity with ’NetSuite’, ’Oracle’, and ‘SAP’ software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • detail oriented certification (e.g. CPA) is preferred.
