QUALIFICATIONS:

1.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance, Banking, Economics, or a similar major.
2.2-3 years of experience working in financial banking or private equity roles, consulting research, market research, investigative research
3.0 to 2 years of experience in consulting or business/market research, preferred, but not a requirement.
4.Oral and written knowledge of English at a fluid level.
5.Advanced level knowledge of Excel.
6.Experience in consulting or research is preferable, but not a requirement.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

1)Should be comfortable working with strict SLAs.
2)Adept at Web-based search.
3)Reasonable understanding of basic financial concepts.
4)Well-developed communications skills; written and oral fluency in English.
5)Solid problem-solving orientation, ability to work in a fast-paced, team and customer-oriented environment.
6)Knowledge of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
7)High attention to detail.

BRIEF OBJECTIVE OF THE ROLE:

Support onshore researchers in meeting their financial and qualitative information requirements across multiple sectors, such as TMT, energy, real estate, automotive, consumer, healthcare, and banking for various companies across different geographies.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Conduct exhaustive secondary research through general Web searches or across different third-party data sources, such as Pitchbook, Refinitiv, FactSet, Factiva, Capital IQ, Merger Market, or Private Equity sources, and share the output in PDF or in MS Word/Excel/PPT. Illustrative types of information research requirements are listed below:
1) Information Retrieval: Provision of company information packs, comprising company filings, broker research, new runs, and other specified information.
2) Company and Sector Analysis: Company research and industry-specific or macro-economic research.
3) News Runs: Filtering of relevant news related to M&A, management, and material company announcements using Google or third-party paid sources.
4) Market Analysis: Sourcing of market data, such as share prices, currency rates, and ratios from multiple third-party data sources.
5) Other Research: Researching technical publications, regulatory frameworks, and analytical research.
