Job Description
Are you passionate about connecting people strategy to business outcomes? The People Planning, Insights, Analytics & Systems team helps the business thrive by driving data-based decisions on Visa’s most important asset – our people. As part of the Consulting arm, you will help build the capacity, capabilities, & connectivity to enable data-empowered decisions with seamless experiences across the employee lifecycle.
As an Analyst, Consulting Insights & People Analytics, Technology & Product, you will support Visa’s people strategy by providing hands-on supply & demand data analysis, workforce insights, and operational reporting to drive decisions optimizing our workforce. Our team supports the core business functions across Technology, Value Added Services, Commercial and Money Movements Solutions, Global Product and Strategy as well as their many partners across Visa. You will collaborate closely with key cross-functional stakeholders across the business to provide actionable insights and contribute to Visa’s 2030 People team strategy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate and analyze workforce reports, highlighting trends and changes for key stakeholders in across the business, People Business Partners, Workforce Planners, Inclusion & Diversity, Talent Management, Talent Acquisition, and Finance.
- Investigate and reconcile data issues and research hypotheses across both quantitative and qualitative people data in Workday, Tableau, Qualtrics, HR systems, and more.
- Analyze supply and demand trends to support data-based strategic workforce planning decisions across the employee lifecycle for Technology and product development organizations.
- Collaborate with business and cross-functional leaders to ensure workforce trends across the employee lifecycle are aligned with Visa’s business priorities and long-term strategic goals.
- Manage a portfolio of ongoing data deliverables and contribute to the improvement of business processes and technology related to workforce planning, Workday tooling, enterprise People products to help identify opportunities for efficiency and automation.
- Foster collaborative working relationships, actively seeking input from cross-functional teams, and contributing to a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Consistently deliver high-quality, data-driven insights that align with the company’s strategic objectives and help drive business outcomes.
- Actively promote people analytics products and dashboards to stakeholders while continuously looking for opportunities to drive more value with enhancements and enablement.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
BASIC QUALIFICATION
- 2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- 3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
- Data-centric (Business, Finance, Statistics, Economics, Industrial-Organizational Psychology or similar) education preferred.
- Experience with Workday, recruiting, and other HR systems for data entry and reporting.
- Strong analytical skills, with experience in Excel / Google Sheet data analysis and creating visualizations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to explain complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and accessible manner.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative environment with a growth mindset, can-do attitude, and drive to deliver quality work.
Additional Information
Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.
