Qualifications

  • Relevant University degree/technical certification and 3-5 years of IT technology, operations and people leadership experience in a large company.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Project/Program Management principles (including Waterfall and Agile Methodology) and financial management.
  • High proficiency in MS Office 365 Applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, SharePoint, etc.), Confluence, and JIRA.
  • Excellent organizational and coordination abilities; strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and high complexity.
  • Must be able work with minimal supervision; self-motivated and results-oriented.
  • Critical thinking & analytical skills - problem diagnosis, resolution options, successful plan execution.
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and written and interpersonal skills.
  • Must be able to build positive working relationships across a broad spectrum.
  • PMP certification an asset.
  • Certifications in business analytics, PMI-PBA (Professional in Business Analysis), CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) a great asset

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain overall responsibility for the tracking of Demand Intake and follow through to decision making, including but not limited to facilitating various assessment and decision making forums.
  • Support/Coach the Demand Intake participants in the adoption of and compliance to the Demand Intake process, keeping them informed of changes as process evolves.
  • Maintain responsibility for building and communicating status reports on Demand Intake, highlighting area for improvement.
  • Support portfolio reviews; preparation of reports, minutes and resulting follow-ups including updates/changes, risks and opportunities as required.
  • In collaboration with domain level performance and delivery teams, support both the Annual Roadmap and Continuous rolling iterative IT Project Portfolio management process with strategy, supporting tools (templates), roadmaps, and reports.
  • Collaborate and align with PMO Governance on PPM tools ensuring their continually meet the needs for portfolio management practice and reporting.
  • Evaluate Intake Estimate performance by comparing intake cost estimates with Financial Closures.
  • Work within the Management Operating System - MOS to support all the above, taking into account senior leadership Reviews, Executive Reviews and Outlook submission deadlines.
  • Support strategic and enhanced Portfolio Reporting for management and senior leadership teams.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity; work with Program Managers, Project Managers, Project Coordinators, Project Analysts, and other teams to improve inputs where necessary.
  • Provide ad hoc support to Delivery Teams, as required.
  • Perform or assist with financial management responsibilities such as auditing vendor/service provider invoices and tracking invoice payments.
