Job Profile: Analyst, Digital Procurement
Reports to: Sr. Manager, Digital Procurement

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Complete assigned mandatory company policy requirements
  • Participate in weekly, monthly, quarterly onsite/offsite vendor and internal business unit meetings
  • Support onboarding of suppliers/contingent workers to Ariba/FG and ensuring the correct purchasing channel is applied
  • Ensure successful end to end process of enabled suppliers through the Ariba/FG platform
  • Address questions/concerns for suppliers and business units transacting in Ariba/FG.
  • Perform troubleshooting and/or root cause analysis and provide resolution
  • Perform excel-based data analysis of large data sets and data clean up
  • Utilize Ariba/FG to analyze and generate reporting to respond to business inquires and manage supplier portfolio
  • Participate and/or lead projects that streamline and drive efficiencies
  • Manage inquires/issues submitted through Service Now Queues and Digital Procurement mailboxes
  • Provide and manage access to Ariba/FG through user provisioning process
  • Responsible for maintaining documentation used for knowledge transfers, processes and job aids
  • Participate in user acceptance testing (UAT) during technical releases to ensure Ariba/FG systems functionality is remaining intact. Responsible for escalating root cause analysis by communication to Colleague Solution and Cloud support team.

  • Strong understanding of purchasing process, operations and strategic sourcing process

TECHNICAL SKILLS

  • Strong experience with Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experience of SAP Ariba including P2P, Sourcing, SIPM, Contracts, Spend Visibility and Fieldglass
  • System management experience
  • Knowledge of cloud-based procurement systems
  • Configuration and management of cloud-based systems
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis
  • Experience with reporting and management of large data sets

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Strong written/verbal communication skills

Responsibilities:

ROLE MANDATE:

Responsible for administration and analysis of procurement technology systems for Fieldglass and Ariba (Cloud based systems). Monitors the system interfaces with existing Loblaw systems to ensure all integrations are working as expected. Responsible for monitoring technical failures and providing support to our Enterprise end users to ensure resolution with minimal business impact. Escalate and work with Cloud and Colleague Solution Teams as well as EBS and AP Teams for financial impact. Ensure suppliers instance of the systems is functioning and meeting up times as defined in the master agreements with the service providers. Drives process and technology adoption and compliance within the business and user groups. Full understanding of all relevant division policies, functions in cross functional policies and procedures across the organization.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of B Comm in business or a quantitative field is an asset
  • 1-3 years relevant experience
  • Previous experience with procurement technologies
  • Previous experience with SAP and Ariba /Fieldglass an asset
