Job Description
As an Economist, you will play a critical role in providing insights and analysis to support our carbon markets business. You will be responsible for understanding and interpreting market trends, calibrating model inputs, and generating and communicating high-quality client-facing outputs. Your analytical skills will be instrumental in delivering best-in-class analytical outputs to carbon market participants across the ecosystem.

KNOWLEDGE, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

We are looking for an individual who is highly motivated, driven, and have a passion to be part of a fast-paced, successful team. Being a strong team player is also important as well as someone who is happy to work flexibly.

  • Proven ability to analyse complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions using Excel-based modelling.
  • Experience in creating clear and concise reports and presentations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of sustainability topics such as carbon markets and energy decarbonisation pathways is highly desirable.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools and software a bonus (e.g., Excel, R, Python).
  • A self-starter with strong project management skills, capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
