WHAT ARE YOUR CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE TEAM?

The Program Management Office is seeking a highly motivated and results driven programs analyst to join its team. In this role, you will be responsible to drive a portfolio of business-critical projects to successful completion. The selected individual will lead a cross-functional team, including external suppliers, and oversee all aspects of the execution of their projects.

  • Articulate the goals and objectives of the program, and how it will impact the business;
  • Own the development and management of the strategies, schedules and budget of your project portfolio;
  • Establish & present project schedules and business cases, and guide the cross functional team towards defined project milestones;
  • Establish and track metrics to monitor performance and progress, prepare status reports and modify schedules and plans as required;
  • Provide day-to-day leadership to cross-functional teams;
  • Be adept at presenting project schedules, business cases and project updates at regular reviews with senior management; possess the necessary communication and presentation skills to articulate project details to management and influence decision making
  • Identify key project risk items, with corresponding risk mitigation or reduction strategies;
  • Escalate to the appropriate level of management as needed;
  • Establish and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Control Program costs (manpower, material and other direct costs), support negotiations with suppliers and other stakeholders in terms of schedule, technical scope and commercial impact

Responsibilities:

HOW TO THRIVE IN THIS ROLE?

  • You hold a bachelor’s degree in Engineering (preferred) or Business;
  • You have a technical or manufacturing background in aerospace (considered an asset);
  • You have at least five (5) years of relevant experience;
  • You possess initiative, are results driven, and have the desire to make decisions;
  • You have strong project management experience, team leadership skills as well solid analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities;
  • You possess superior communication skills (written & spoken) and the ability to influence at different levels of the organization;
  • You can work under pressure and tight deadlines, and still deliver on commitments;
  • You have working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project).
