Description:

FAM Analysts develop skills related to asset management, redevelopment, budgeting, forecasting, and the overall financial ownership of a sizable portfolio of retail properties.
The FAM Analyst will work with the VPs of FAM on regional portfolios of over 100 open-air shopping centers consisting of ~20 million square feet. Analysts will regularly interface with members of the Leasing, Re/Development, Accounting, and Property Management teams.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • College/university degree required
  • Entry-level to one year of analyst experience
  • Exposure to ARGUS preferred but not required
  • Experience with MS Excel
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team-focused environment
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills

    The base salary range for this position has been established as $75,000-$78,000 PLUS participation in our annual cash bonus plan. This salary range represents the Company’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting.

Responsibilities:

  • Working with the VPs of FAM (the “CFOs” of the portfolios) to partner with Regional Presidents and Leasing VPs to provide ongoing financial leadership of the regional portfolio
  • Develop, track, and maintain accurate financial forecasts by monitoring and updating leasing assumptions
  • Analyze potential leases to optimize return on investment while balancing the merchandising mix of the property relative to its surrounding residents
  • The production, review, and integrity of company-level budgets
  • Utilizing ARGUS Enterprise, JD Edwards, and MS Excel to extract relevant data and manipulate it to assist with portfolio management
  • Teaming with the regional leasing and redevelopment teams to vet, underwrite, and monitor redevelopment projects
  • A high level of ad hoc reporting, research, and analysis related to financial operations of the regional portfolio
