Reporting to the Senior Lead, Equity, Diversity & Inclusion, Analyst, HR Reporting is the central point of contact and lead for HR reporting processes and communications at Teck, ensuring accurate and effective reporting on Teck’s HR performance, key issues, and strategy. This includes establishing and updating communication plans, engaging with internal partners, and crafting key reports, in particular the production of the monthly HR Report.
This position coordinates the work of other internal resources, including areas of HR, and other internal partners to provide key HR metrics into external reporting. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the principles and practices of reporting across the HR/Talent lifecycle and related performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree related to the field of HR, Data Analytics, Systems, Communications or equivalent experience
- 3-5 years of relevant reporting experience working with multiple customers and collaborators
- Experience in producing internal reports for complex organizations with a focus on HR reporting
- Possesses outstanding writing skills with the ability to write about complex data results and trends for a variety of audiences
- Excellent communication skills, including report writing, data visualization, and public speaking
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail; familiarity within data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, BI Dashboards) required
- Outcome-focused with experience in project management and delivery
- Knowledge and familiarity with reporting standard practices
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills with a proven track record to prioritize and stay organized

Responsibilities:
- Be a courageous safety leader, adhere to and sponsor safety and environmental rules and procedures
- Work across departments to bring together, analyze, and report HR data and achievements, while identifying and acting on opportunities for efficiencies in the way we report
- Build and write HR reports, interpreting performance metrics related to employee performance, retention and recruitment. Identify trends and patterns in HR data to provide actionable insights
- Work closely with HR and other departments to understand business needs for people data and interpretation of existing HRIS data to support report analysis and delivery
- Interpret and translate data into written reports and compelling presentations to reach diverse audiences
- Coordinate the communication of Teck’s HR performance metrics across the organization including the development of all submissions and materials for monthly reporting and key executive reports
- Support the implementation of HR communication and reporting strategy, including internal engagement
- Partner and collaborate with sustainability and other reporting leaders as needed; give input into the multi-year reporting improvement plan
- Contribute to the development and implementation of internal reporting standards at Teck
