About the Role
The Analyst is responsible bench work and documentation based on their assignment to the laboratory. Ensures that analyses are performed in accordance with appropriate SOPs

What You’ll Do Here

  • Responsible for experiments at the bench based on training and competencies can be assigned conduct validation and/or sample analysis.
  • Execute appropriately method standard operating procedure (SOP), ensure completeness and accuracy of documentation
  • Follow general SOP and good laboratory practice (GLP) and good clinical practices (GCP) as applicable.
  • Completing supplementary information forms as needed to complete documentation.
  • Stay up to date on new SOPs, procedures, and techniques via training sessions, team meetings and internal communication avenues.
  • Communicate potential problems that could impact quality of the work performed in the laboratory and data reliability and discusses appropriately with line manager.
  • Performs assigned tasks in a timely manner
  • Respecting Health and Safety standards in terms of personal protection, laboratory maintenance, and work procedures.
  • Observes all company guidelines and policies.

What You’ll Need to Succeed

  • College or University degree in chemistry, biochemistry, immunology or other related field, equivalent experience can be considered in lieu
  • Previous laboratory experience is an assest
  • Good organizational skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Good communication skills in French and English
