The business unit of Transaction Advisory Group is one of Alvarez & Marsal’s areas of expertise serving renowned private equity investors, hedge funds as well as industrial companies. Our experienced experts work in identifying and realizing value enhancement potential before, during and after acquisitions. In the process, we combine our operational advisory approach with detailed financial and accounting knowledge. In contrast to many competitors, we can act free of conflicts of interest, as no auditing is carried out by A&M.

Your tasks as an Analyst (m/f/d) of the Transaction Advisory Team include:

• Preparation of financial due diligence reports, market and competition analyses of companies, financial fact books as well as cash flow and financing calculations
• Plausibility checks of business plans and support of national and international M&A projects
• Preparation of complex, business analyses of companies with the aim of understanding their financial situation

Your profile:

• Excellent university degree
• Very good business knowledge and high affinity for data and facts
• Strong analytical skills combined with confident command of relevant tools such as MS Excel and PowerPoint
• Knowledge of accounting regulations and guidelines (HBG, IFRS, US GAAP)
• Relevant internships with well-known consultancies, private equity funds, banking or industry
• Excellent German and English language skills, other foreign languages are very welcome.
