About your next Challenge as a Analyst, Material Management:
The Material Management Analyst is responsible of procurement activities for Customer parts to support repair line operations. You will need to familiarize yourself with programs and customer requirements, process purchase requests and do inventory transfers to maintain an optimal level of inventory. You will also have to analyze historical transactions to investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies. You will participate to achieve the objectives and meet the quality standards set by the department of material management

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Industrial Engineering or equivalent;
  • One to three (1-3) years of relevant material management experience (any other equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will be considered);
  • Know the concepts and processes of supply chain and inventory management;
  • Knowledge of SAP, an asset;
  • Good knowledge of the Microsoft office suite required;
  • Intermediate Excel level;
  • Good analytical skills;
  • Available to travel (10% of the time);
  • Communication skills in both French and English (oral and written);
  • Teamwork, initiative, flexibility, stress management and customer service are desirable behaviors.

Eligibility Criteria (Mandatory):

  • Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada Reliability status and Secret Level 2/NATO SECRET security clearance.
  • Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
  • For on-site positions, our location not accessible by public transport, car/carpooling required.

Responsibilities:

  • Fill in material requirements of the operations for the inventory provided by the customer;
  • Ensure follow-up of your orders until they are received;
  • Participate in the resolution of material issues;
  • Support several operational requests;
  • Ensures the quality of inventory data (e.g. validity, accuracy, inventory locations, erroneous transactions);
  • Analyze, support and implement a proper functioning of computerized data system according to the needs of the organization;
  • Follow customer’s processes, including internal processes;
  • Communicate within and outside the organization with different departments and other supply chain actors;
  • Participate in the achievement of performance indicators for material management;
  • Actively participate in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to improve materiel management.
