As the Analyst, Patient Safety, you will work with clinical SMEs and the Patient Safety Team to support, enhance, and measure efforts intended to improve patient safety. This role will involve the execution of scalable innovation projects and change initiatives that advance DaVita’s multi-year clinical goals.
As an Analyst on our team, you will help identify and implement necessary changes to support software applications and clinical processes that enable teammates to successfully achieve our multi-year clinical objectives. We empower teammates to:

The Patient Safety Software Support Analyst must be able to think critically, work successfully with cross-functional teams, and have the maturity to interact directly with both peers and executives across departments. - Excellent Organizational and Prioritization Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 0-4 years of relevant experience
- Bachelors Degree is required
- Experience with large-scale software projects with tangible impact on operating performance
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint is required
- Familiarity with software development, support, or implementation processes
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL queries, data extracts, and ETL processes
Responsibilities:
- Support Special Projects team: Including managing processes, driving the right set of analyses, and presenting conclusions to leadership.
- Collaborate with Internal Partners: Build strong relationships with internal teams (Patient Safety, Operations, Risk, Clinical Support, IT, etc.) to ensure alignment and integration of patient safety software applications.
- Software Support and Improvement: Assist in the development, enhancement, and maintenance of software applications that support patient safety and reporting.
- Communication: Create and edit impactful, succinct written communications regarding software applications and their impact on patient safety for over 3,000 dialysis clinics across the country.
- Data Analysis: Leverage a hypotheses-based approach to identify, validate, and quantify opportunities; analyze large data sets to derive meaningful insights and incorporate ‘real world’ considerations into work.
- Analytical Approaches: Develop and improve credible and pragmatic analytical approaches and frameworks; use continuous improvement tools when appropriate.
