As the Data Analyst on the Workforce Planning & Analytics team, you will support the delivery of robust insights to assist and influence decision making. This high performing and small team transforms data into easy to digest intuitive visuals and outputs to help the business make people related decisions.
A Day in the Life
- Assist in the delivery of our suite of People Analytics dashboards to uncover data-driven insights that enable Element to attract, develop, motivate, and retain talent; this includes delivering workforce analytics for people related data such as, recruiting, talent management, employee experience, diversity, equity, & inclusion as well as the integration of HR data into other analytical areas.
- Establish and maintain KPIs and supporting analytics to track performance through the HR Balanced Scorecard
- Design and build automated dashboards that enable and empower self-service, and which synthesize data and information into coherent storytelling and recommendations
- Analyze data and provide trend information to influence strategies and draw conclusions for Executive level and Senior Leaders
- Take an active role in the deep diagnostics of Workforce Planning processes and the design of future data models to forecast workload and resource requirements
- Design, and maintain models and resource plans to account for multiple factors including business volumes / productivity rate assumptions,
- Partner with HR leaders to design and implement new data projects, analyze data; create executive presentations and dashboards to inform people-related business decisions.
- Assist with implementing standard processes and controls that maintain data integrity across systems and alignment with data privacy standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in in a relevant discipline (HR, Business, Mathematics, statistics, etc.)
- 5+ years of experience with Data Analytics Tools (Such as Microsoft PowerBI, SQL queries, DAX, Python, etc.)
- Strong written, presentation, and verbal communication skills
- Human Resources experience would be a plus
- Ability to work a hybrid work arrangement from our Mississauga office
