QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or equivalent
  • Minimum three (5) years of experience in a similar position.
  • Communication skills – written and spoken;
  • Excellent team work, analytical, problem-solving and project management skills with keen observation and attention to detail
  • MS Office advance level knowledge highly recommended.
  • Strong knowledge of production processes, standardization, calibration and work processes;
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;

Responsibilities:

  • Develop control continuous improvement processes in the Coating department:
  • Liaise between Global Engineering and the Coating production team regarding process control, calibration of equipment and continuous improvement programs.
  • Follow-up in LTS and/or Global Engineering support in order to apply any change or requirement as per standardization of processes.
  • Maintain the process control SOP’s in the Coating department as per standard;
  • Provide support to Supervisors in the implementation of new products, new production flows, and project management;
  • Analyze rejects and find ways of improving rejects/non-performance issues related to processes;
  • Monitor production KPIs and provide solutions to improve process;
  • Ensure all the machine parameters are recorded and available as per standardization.
  • Coordinate LOFT training:
  • Develop training, SOPs and best practices in processes and calibration of equipment;
  • Provide training for team members. Create tools to ensure accuracy, integrity and standardization of results reporting;
  • Create and validate work sequence for every station in the Coating department.
  • Collaborate with Maintenance and EHS department:
  • Make sure chemicals are disposed properly within our EHS policy;
  • Update MSDS sheets as required;
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment;
  • Follow up with maintenance department to ensure all the machines are maintained and calibrated within conformity required by Global Engineering
  • Identify issues for Maintenance department;
