Oxford Properties is looking for a highly motivated Analyst to join our Investments team in Toronto . In this role you will have the opportunity to support investment, finance, strategy, risk and portfolio management initiatives. Your analytical skills, problem solving abilities and business acumen will be key to your success. Oxford Properties invests in all major high-growth asset classes and across the entire capital structure. We will look to invest in both public and private markets, and partner / co-invest with strategic investors and best-in-class managers across the region.
The Analyst will work as part of the Canadian Investments team. Key responsibilities will include analysis of real estate investment opportunities, market research and supporting senior investment team members on transaction executions.

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for
Financial analysis of a wide range of real estate investments, including modelling of real estate cash flows, financing assumptions, IRRs, output sensitivities, etc., as well as research to support key underwriting assumptions
Conduct market and property-level due diligence including the coordination of site tours/broker meetings, review of property level financials, rent rolls, third-party reports and preparation of sales/leasing comps
Supporting the transaction review process including the preparation and review of investment committee submissions and presentations to partners, financial analysis and related underwriting models for all transactions
Collaborating and working well within a small team, coordinating directly with senior team members and external advisors, allowing broad exposure to deals from early stage to closing
Assisting in the valuation of Oxford’s existing portfolio as well as providing asset management related analysis and commentary on an as needed basis
Assist in strategic planning processes, including researching new asset classes and market expansions
To succeed in this role, you have
A desire and interest for a career in real estate;
At least 1 year of experience in Real Estate, Finance, Investment Banking or related fields
High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with significant experience in financial modelling, presentation preparation and research; experience in ARGUS Enterprise software a plus
Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) and the ability to interact with external advisors and peers, develop industry networks and contacts and represent Oxford in the Canadian market
Strong attention to detail, project management and presentation skills
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced work environment
A positive attitude, the ability to take initiative and work in a dynamic environment. You are team player; fast learner; self-starter and diligent
