Description:

As a fast growing Shared Service Centre (SSC) we are looking for a Reinsurance Analyst to support our AXA XL Re Operations.
You will perform reinsurance accounting duties for assigned reinsurance clients. This includes checking and booking of premium and claims data reported by clients, verifying reserves, settlement of claims and monitoring third-party debtor balances.

We’re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:

  • University degree (or equivalent), preferably in a quantitative discipline (e.g. finance, accounting).
  • Analytical approach, diligent and accurate working style, flair for numbers, attention to detail
  • Team player with good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive mind-set: able to work self-directed, demonstrating outstanding prioritization and time management skills and delivering against tight deadlines.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Excel.
  • C1 English language skills, additional European languages are a plus (e.g. Italian, Spanish, French, German)

Responsibilities:

  • Manage a pending of accounts in accordance with Company guidelines and procedures.
  • Supporting and developing the team through regular communication, training, coaching and appraisals reviews
  • Integrating and training of new joiners / training of team in conjunction with Subject Matter Expert.
  • Prioritizing and organizing team’s workloads, work effectively in the face of ambiguity.
  • Ensuring Continuous Improvement initiatives are tracked and supported where necessary.
  • Preparing reports as requested to support the Underwriting Support responsibilities.
  • Documenting and assisting with control processes and Internal Audit Cooperating closely with Technical Accounting and Claims Team Leaders to ensure the teams work collaboratively Developing and maintaining relationships with local AXA XL teams and with stakeholders in the regions through frequent contact and being responsive to their needs.
  • Ensuring processes, procedures and SLA’s are met and adhered to. Comply with AXA XL underwriting support guidelines and procedures.
  • Working on special projects as and when require
