Description:

We now provide platform services to over 50 investors and 500 large corporate customers and have onboarded a number of banks as white label customers. You will work to constantly review, report on and optimise our end-to-end marketing, BD & sales processes to drive maximal commercial efficiency and effectiveness. your responsibilities will include ownership & maintenance of preparation of sales reporting and the provision of commercial support to the origination team.
What you’ll do

Sales collateral:

  • Ensure all sales collateral including external presentations and pitch materials are kept updated as required by origination team members. Ensure documents are accurate, well presented and without error. Manage process by which materials are kept up to date and ensure owners are updating.

Tools:

  • Be the internal owner of Salesforce.com, managing licenses, ensuring adequate training, optimal use of features and functionality.
  • Be the overall owner for the martech & sales tech budget. Run cadence of reviews with owners/admins of all tools to ensure optimal usage levels, appropriate license allocation and continued suitability/effectiveness.
  • Continuously review market for tools which could optimise/improve sales and marketing effectiveness.

Reporting:

  • Produce regular reporting on commercial activity and seek to improve reporting accuracy and efficiency.
  • Use reporting data to make recommendations to sales & marketing leadership on opportunities to optimise.
  • Support legal in management of risk profile of client base, updating the credit and risk information in line with internal procedures.

General:

  • Participate in the training and development of team members and others as required.
  • Communication with the wider organisation on commercial policies and processes as appropriate.

Who you are

  • 1-2 years working experience in a sales environment or in a client facing role; finance or technology background a plus.
  • Possess exceptional Microsoft Office skills (in particular PowerPoint and Excel)
  • Have the ability to prioritise efforts and tasks, diagnose problems and handle various transactions / tasks simultaneously. Capable of working in a highly dynamic environment to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with an ability to engage and convince internal and external stakeholders.
  • Pragmatic, accurate and reliable in a fast-moving environment.
  • Open minded, easily adaptable to short noticed changes in a fast-moving environment.
  • Self-learner: not afraid of asking appropriate questions, positively challenging existing ways of working and ability to challenge own thinking

You will be a great fit for the role if, in addition to the above, you have experience in:

  • Knowledge of working capital finance.
  • Experience in producing internal KPI reporting and customer facing documents.
  • Effective interpersonal and organisational skills.
  • Familiarity with CRM system(s) such as Salesforce.
  • A second language is a plus
