Regulatory, Risk and Forensics is seeking an analyst/senior associate to join its CLAIMS – Due Diligence team. In this role, you will provide independent, fact-based due diligence services for various economic stimulus and job creation funding programs offered by all levels of government. You will be part of a diverse team dedicated to evaluating funding applications from companies from across Canada, including business plans and financial statements, to identify potential risks and benefits.

Working collaboratively with the CLAIMS - Due Diligence team, you will be responsible for supporting:

  • The assessment of business plans and funding applications to identify key financial, management, market/industry, operational, project completion, repayment, and security risks;
  • The assessment of historical financial performance of an entity including key profitability, solvency, expense coverage, and liquidity metrics;
  • The assessment of key assumptions and reasonability of financial forecasts;
  • The creation of summary financial tables;
  • The completion of written qualitative risk assessments;
  • The completion of risk assessment template reports for clients; and
  • The communication with funding applicants to collect supplementary information and clarification.
  • Help the team keep up with financial due diligence best practices
