JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performs testing tasks to assure developed products meet design specifications and are within total quality management limits and standards. Troubleshooting and analysis on the development of network systems. Participates in the development, implementation and maintenance of test processes and diagnostic programs.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (i.e., Computer Science) or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Relevant experience, atleast 3 years of relevant work experience in industry, with a minimum of 2 years in functional testing
• Atleast 1 year experience using Selenium
• Basic coding and debugging skills
• Effective communication and collaboration abilities
• Strong problem-solving mindset
• Willingness to learn and adapt to the field
• Foundational knowledge on Software Testing Life Cycle, Software Development Life Cycle and QA Methodologies
• Experience in using Testing Tools - JIRA, HP ALM, etc

OTHER QUALIFICATIONS:

• ISTQB and equivalent certifications are preferred but not required

• Review and analyze requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
• Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
• Execute test cases and analyze results
• Create logs to document testing phases and defects
• Report bugs and errors to development teams
• Coordinate and communicate with the project team for the issues encountered
• Build and manage relationships and ensure customer/client satisfaction
