ABOUT THE ROLE

We are extremely excited to announce that we are inviting applications for a Business Analyst - Grade Control role to be based in our Kurri Kurri Technology Centre, or any of our Australian offices with a hybrid working setup.
As the Business Analyst - Grade Control, you will use your experience in production geology, strong analytical abilities, and passion for technology to aid in developing innovative solutions for the geoscience and mining sector.
This role requires the use of advanced analytical tools and techniques to derive valuable insights from data, as well as converting customers’ production geology needs into technical specifications for software development. The perfect fit is someone with a proactive, innovative mindset who can lead and influence teams within Orica, collaborate with customers and users, and work across product teams to create products that our customers love.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

  • Analyse market and product insights to inform strategies.
  • Define product strategies, objectives, and key results.
  • Clarify product value propositions.
  • Engage directly with customers and users to collect, visualize, and validate requirements for product development.
  • Ensure development outcomes align with customer business goals and validate requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prototype digital workflows and refine solution proposals.
  • Maintain software quality control, documentation standards, and provide product training and demonstrations.
