Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add an Analyst, Unix Systems located in Guadalajara, North Campus.
Reporting to the Manager IT the Analyst, Unix Systems role will be In-charge of performing operational processes and procedures to ensure all IT services, systems, and infrastructure meet business needs.

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare Standard Operating procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of the applications and underlying systems.
• Proactive monitoring of enterprise systems to ensure they are adequately sized to meet the dynamic requirements from the business solutions.
• Ensure proper backup and retention polices are in place to ensure minimum data loss to the business in case of failures.
• Establish clear communication channels and ensure proper feedback mechanisms are in place with customers, peers and cross functional teams.
• Propose system enhancements (software and hardware updates) that will improve the performance and reliability of the system.
• Stablish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans and performance requirements.
• Ensure that business application(s) are performing, scalable, usable, and available by defining help and monitoring processes, defining, and driving SLAs (Service Level Agreement), conducting system tests.
• Research, design, code, and test new systems and system enhancements in line with the deliverables of the IT projects.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Jr experience with Linux\Windows hands-on system administration with back-end large server experience and or cloud experience.
• Knowledge in hypervisors e.g. VMWare, Linux KVM
• Advanced English.
• Basic skills in Relational databases, Open-Source databases.
• Basics of Troubleshooting, Log analysis and data analytics.
