Description:

Position Overview
The Analyst, Ventures & Partnerships, assists with research, analysis, modeling, and reporting to support the partnership platform and the investment process, and to aid portfolio monitoring. As a member of our Ventures & Partnerships Team, you will work closely with experienced professionals and other subject matter experts to identify and evaluate potential ventures in innovative new technologies, and partnerships with startups and scaleups. You will have the opportunity to learn from and contribute to our team’s collective knowledge and expertise, and to participate in all aspects of the partnership and investment process.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with all stages of the partnership platform, the investment process and portfolio monitoring.
  • Assists with due diligence and research on any new deals. Reviews information in data rooms.
  • Assists with the identification of key risks and mitigations.
  • Performs research necessary to assist in the formulation of investment theses.
  • Helps input data into financial models and approval memos.
  • Assists in production of regular analysis and reports.
  • Assists with production of content for management reports.
  • Assists in ongoing data management including CRM, pipelines.
  • Assists with research projects and internal initiatives.
  • Assists in management of sourcing pipeline.
  • Prepares insights reports using fund partner and data tool reports on trends and market developments.

Requirements

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Comfort with ambiguity and risk.
  • Basic understanding of investment/market concepts.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Superior investigative, analytical and problem solving skills.
