Description:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field such as Digital Media Web Design

  • or a related disciplineProven experience in a similar role
  • with a focus on digital asset management and web optimizationProficient in using content management systems and strong knowledge of digital asset management tools such as Photoshop In Design
  • and Illustrator
  • Familiarity with licensing images via stock photo platforms
  • Understanding of SEO principles and their application to visual contentSolid knowledge of web optimization techniques image compression
  • and best practicesFamiliarity with web accessibility standards (WCAG)
  • ensuring assets are inclusive and accessible
  • Experience optimizing assets for performance and responsiveness across various devices
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional team environment
  • Familiarity with the cruise industry and Royal Caribbean’s brand is a plus

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular reviews of digital asset toolkits to identify new and relevant assets for the Royal Caribbean website
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure all assets align with brand guidelines and meet quality standardsImplement best practices for image compression format selection
  • and other techniques to enhance website performance
  • Work closely with the SEO team to implement on-page optimization strategies for visual contentConduct thorough testing of assets to guarantee compatibility across various devices browsers
  • and screen sizesEnsure assets adhere to web accessibility standards
