Mō te tūranga | About the role
Working as part of a team of Corporate Banking Analysts, you will provide credit and financial analytical expertise on a portfolio of accounts. You will demonstrate in depth knowledge and understanding of the customer, their business, and their industry providing effective deal support through accurate and thorough research and analysis. You will also protect portfolio health by applying sound credit management practices to support the Relationship Managers in achieving best customer outcomes.
You will complete accurate, concise and well thought through credit submissions whilst undertaking dynamic risk management of the portfolio incorporating accurate and timely monitoring of triggers, covenants, completion of periodic risk reviews and continuous risk monitoring within policy timeframes and standards.

  • Knowledge of banking products and the New Zealand market
  • Commercial/Corporate understanding of New Zealand’s business and economic environment
  • Experience in financial analysis and credit
  • Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements and credit risk
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • A tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or Business preferred but not essential
  • An understanding of legal documentation would be advantageous.
