JOB SUMMARY

Under the supervision of the Assistant Controller, the incumbent will join the accounting team to perform various tasks within the accounting cycle.
Responsibilities:

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Experience in the manufacturing sector;
  • Experience in cost accounting;
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
  • Good command of English (oral and written);
  • Membership in the Order of CPA Quebec (asset);
  • Knowledge of ERP software - BC (asset).

REQUIRED EDUCATION

  • A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance

Or

  • A College Diploma in Accounting

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE

  • 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (journal entries, reconciliation, analysis, etc.);
  • Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and coordinate its monitoring;
  • Contribute to the setup and monitoring of investment projects (capex);
  • Prepare, improve, and develop various KPI monitoring reports;
  • Coordinate the implementation of new operational processes, as well as other initiatives or recommendations;
  • Participate in the internal audit process;
  • Participate in inventory processes;
  • Respond to various requests from the head office, reports, and performance indicators.
