JOB SUMMARY
Under the supervision of the Assistant Controller, the incumbent will join the accounting team to perform various tasks within the accounting cycle.
Responsibilities:
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Experience in the manufacturing sector;
- Experience in cost accounting;
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite;
- Good command of English (oral and written);
- Membership in the Order of CPA Quebec (asset);
- Knowledge of ERP software - BC (asset).
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
Or
- A College Diploma in Accounting
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE
- 5 to 7 years of experience in a similar position

Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements (journal entries, reconciliation, analysis, etc.);
- Contribute to the preparation of the annual budget and coordinate its monitoring;
- Contribute to the setup and monitoring of investment projects (capex);
- Prepare, improve, and develop various KPI monitoring reports;
- Coordinate the implementation of new operational processes, as well as other initiatives or recommendations;
- Participate in the internal audit process;
- Participate in inventory processes;
- Respond to various requests from the head office, reports, and performance indicators.
