QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Diplôme de baccalauréat en logistique, gestion des transports, gestion de projet ou dans un domaine connexe ou expérience équivalente.
  • Les diplômes avancés ou des certifications sont un atout.
  • Maîtrise des outils et techniques d’analyse de données, avec la capacité d’extraire des informations significatives à partir de jeux de données complexes.
  • Compétences démontrées en gestion de projet, notamment la création de plans de projet, la gestion des délais et de coordonner des ressources.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication orale et écrite, avec la capacité de transmettre des informations techniques à des parties prenantes non techniques. – Excellente maîtrise du français.
  • Solides compétences interpersonnelles et capacité à travailler en collaboration avec des équipes transversales.
  • Capacité à s’adapter aux exigences et priorités changeantes des projets dans un environnement dynamique.

JOB SUMMARY

As a Senior Transport Project Analyst, you will lead and oversee the planning, execution, and analysis of complex transportation projects within the organization. This senior-level role involves a strategic focus on optimizing transportation systems, managing project teams, and ensuring the successful implementation of initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management, a deep understanding of transportation logistics, and the ability to provide strategic insights to drive continuous improvement.
The Senior Transport Project Analyst plays a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of transportation initiatives, driving operational excellence, and contributing to the overall success of the organization.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in logistics, transportation management, project management, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and techniques, with the ability to derive meaningful insights from complex datasets.
  • Demonstrated project management skills, including the ability to create project plans, manage timelines, and coordinate resources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders. – Great in French
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Familiarity with transportation management systems, project management software, and relevant technologies.

    The incumbent of this position will provide daily support to internal and/or external clients outside Quebec and/or in the United States.   • Provide guidance on the selection of projects that align with the company’s strategic priorities.

Project Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor project teams, providing direction, support, and expertise to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Oversee the development of project plans, timelines, and resource allocation.

Data Analysis and Insight Generation:

  • Conduct advanced data analysis to derive actionable insights related to transportation efficiency, cost optimization, and performance metrics.
  • Utilize data-driven approaches to identify trends, forecast future needs, and drive decision-making.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, supply chain, operations, and IT, to ensure seamless integration of transportation projects with other business functions.
  • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Risk Management and Mitigation:

  • Proactively identify risks associated with transportation projects, develop risk mitigation strategies, and lead the implementation of corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.

Process Optimization:

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, evaluating and optimizing transportation processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall performance.
  • Implement best practices and innovative solutions to address operational challenges.

Reporting and Communication:

  • Prepare and present comprehensive reports to senior management, conveying project status, key performance indicators, and strategic recommendations.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring transparency and alignment with project goals.
