Responsibilities:

Reporting directly to the Program Manager Configuration Management, the jobholder will be responsible for all milestones to execute on program Request for Change (RFC).

  • The Configuration program Analyst is the overall accountable LEADER within A220 for the RFC management.
  • The jobholder interfaces with all functional teams on the program with a heavy emphasis on developing change management implementation, costing and pricing plans, leading the implementation of program strategy and being the focal point for any A220 RFC for final assembly line.
  • The Configuration program analyst is accountable for the End to End RFC change from the launch to the implementation on the assembly line.
  • The Configuration program analyst is accountable for the delivery of the milestones in line with Program requirements for schedule, cost (NRC & RC), quality, ressources and technical scope.
  • This involves the management of all RFC through all its phases, i.e. development, detail design, parts manufacturing and industrialization. It also involves the management of the corresponding suppliers

In your duties, you will be called upon to:

  • Organise and lead the weekly RFC review board including all stakeholders.
  • Show leadership by inspiring and motivating multi-disciplinary teams, internal as well as external to Airbus, including Engineering, Industrial, Quality, Procurement, Suppliers, Work package Managers and for maintaining adequate staff levels in line with Program requirements.
  • Act as a project leader; plan and manage lead-time between opening and closing of a change request passing from defining a solution to incorporation in production.
  • Prepare reports on the teams’ effectiveness, outputs and recommendations, and KPIs and reports.
  • Propose, negotiate and cascade performance objectives (Quality, Planning & Lead time)
  • Represent the Program Management office in many internal decision making forums for program strategy.
  • Anticipate crisis or disruptions and if needed, lead the necessary recovery actions.
  • Implement robust risk and opportunity management system.
  • Ensure consistent top level decision making in line with operational needs and escalate issues when required.
  • Prepare and present at governance for alignment and visibility of the projects
