We are expanding our team to further empower our customers and ensure their success. This is where you come in. We are scaling our product team in our Copenhagen office.
As an Analytics Engineer at Dreamdata you will be part of a cross-functional product team consisting of Software Engineering, Design and Product Manager.
At Dreamdata data is not just a support function - it is our product and what we do !
You will be responsible for the data function part of the team to build and iterate on our main product, ensuring that data pipelines and transformations are built using best practices and are transparent and easy-to-use for our customers.
You will also be part of the broader data group consisting of the analytics engineers and data scientists from other teams. Together we maintain the fundamental data models that power the entire Dreamdata product.

REQUIREMENTS

  • You have 2-4 years of experience in a data related role such as analytics engineer, data engineer, data analyst, data scientist or a similar role.
  • You most likely have real-world experience in working with data from multiple sources, extracting, visualizing, and explaining insights to stakeholders.Previous experience working with marketing and sales data is considered a plus.
  • You are fluent in SQL. We use Google BigQuery, but experience with other cloud data warehouses like Snowflake, AWS Redshift, Azure SQL etc. is equally relevant.
  • We use GCP Dataform for the majority of data transformations but experience with dbt or transformation libraries like Pandas, Polar, tidyr, dplyr etc. is also relevant.
  • You have some exposure to other coding languages like Python, golang, Typescript etc
  • We use Github, but other version control systems are equally relevant.
  • You have played with visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx etc. Experience using open source Python/R-based visualization libraries is equally relevant.

We are heavy users of Google Cloud Platform, but exposure to the other public clouds are also considered a plus.
