The Analytics & Visual Operation Engineer Support role is dedicated to delivering superior customer service while providing critical support for the Operations and Sustainment (O&S) of Operational Analytics Dashboards and Websites. This position is based in Springfield, VA, and plays a key role in enabling data-driven decision-making for NGA executives and leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and implement advanced visualization technology solutions such as operational analytics dashboards and websites.
  • Ensure these solutions provide valuable insights into IT service and operations management.
  • Maintain and enhance visualization tools to ensure their continued effectiveness and relevance.
  • Ensure operational continuity and reliability of the visualization solutions.
  • Perform comprehensive data collection and conditioning to prepare data for analysis.
  • Correlate and analyze data to uncover patterns and insights that support actionable intelligence.
  • Utilize advanced analytics and visualization tools to present data in a meaningful way.
  • Create and maintain dashboards that allow NGA executives and leadership to assess the health, performance, and utility of the IT enterprise.
  • Sustain and manage Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and data content sources.
  • Ensure data sources are accurate, up-to-date, and effectively integrated into visualization tools.
  • Provide superior customer service to stakeholders and end-users.
  • Address and resolve issues related to operational analytics dashboards and websites promptly.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma, / GED plus 6 years of relevant experience OR:
  • Associates Degree and 4 years’ experience OR:
  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years’ experience
  • Relevant experience in the following:
  • Analytics
  • Visual Operations
  • Data Collection
  • Experience in the Intelligence Community
  • TS/SCI clearance

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Ability to obtain CI Poly Clearance
  • Ability to work independently and yet be effective within a team setting
  • Must be capable of managing multiple efforts with time related constraints in a fast-paced contracting environment
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with diverse internal and external stakeholder groups and individuals
  • Friendly presence, helpful attitude, good interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with others.
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and other Office applications
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Applications, and experience working in a home office setting as well as the ability to train end users on frequently asked technical issues.
  • Ability to provide technical assistance and support over the phone; good phone skills, professional demeanor, previous customer service experience strongly desired.
  • Good problem-solving skills; ability to visualize a problem/situation and think abstractly to solve it
