Job Description
This is a superb opportunity to join the hotel team of Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel Spa Wellness Department as the Spa Receptionist. Anantara The Marker Dublin Hotel is part of the Leading Hotel of the World, and aims to offer all the experiential luxury Anantara Hotels & Resorts is renowned for.

Additional Information

  • To greet and welcome guests on arrival in a warm/friendly and professional manner.
  • To answer phone calls and emails, taking SPA bookings as per the Leading Quality Assurance (LQA) standards.
  • To respond to all guest enquiries promptly and efficiently.
  • To check in and out guests from SPA, taking payments post treatments.
  • To upsell Spa treatments.
  • To attend training and train new starters.
  • To maintain the aesthetics in the SPA, ensure all systems function correctly, the temperature is correct, and the music is on.
  • To maintain the cleanliness, presentation and organisation of the reception area at all times.
  • To ensure stock levels are correct and displayed for retail sales.
  • To process retail sales.
  • To provide information on SPA facilities and show the facilities to potential members.
  • To answer any SPA-related queries to hotel guests and potential members.
  • To open and close up the SPA as per standards and checklist.
  • To take payments and process (selling and redeeming) gift vouchers.
  • To prepare the reception area for the start of the next shift, ensuring all messages are communicated and carrying out a detailed handover.
  • To liaise with other hotel departments to ensure guest needs are met and communicated.
  • To maintain a good knowledge of the hotel and facilities available.
  • To support the team and Spa management to carry out the duties.
  • To report any concerns to Management immediately.
  • To ensure the hotel achieves the Leading Hotels of the World Quality Assurance targets and that the highest standards of luxury and quality are delivered consistently to our guests.
  • To deliver excellent care to our guests.
  • To report defective materials and equipment to the appropriate departments.
  • To ensure guest feedback is acted upon in a timely manner ensuring the relevant people are informed and that all necessary action is taken to prevent reoccurrences.
  • To provide support where necessary in other areas of the Hotel.
  • To comply with the hotels cash handling procedures and ensure that all team members are trained accordingly.
