RIEPILOGO DEL LAVORO

For an important Insourcing Solution client based in Berne, we are looking for an Animal Caretaker with experience in colony management.

• Control and recording of environmental parameters
• Control of the general conditions of the animals
• Daily control of the water and feed level
• Daily monitoring of requests made by researchers
• Introduction of animals from external barriers
• Ordinary cleaning and sanitization of the housing areas of rooms and corridors
• Washing of the daily animal facility equipment: cages, grids, watering bottles, steel bottle caps, racks and filters
• Colony management: breeding (mating, sexing, weaning, animal identification, biopsy taking)

Experience in a similar position
Familiarity and dexterity in carrying out the typical activities of the job
Ability to carry out verbal and written instructions, demonstrate interpersonal skills that promote effective communication and contribute to a cohesive work environment
Maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating professionally with colleagues and superiors.
