The Idaho State Department of Agriculture is currently recruiting for a Laboratory Technician in the Animal Health Laboratory located in Boise.
Responsibilities:
- Prepares bovine or other animal blood samples for testing.
- Assists in testing of blood and milk samples for brucellosis (requires certification).
- Assists in routine examination of samples (may require certification).
- Assists in mail distribution internally and mailing packages from labs.
- Result entry.
- Assists in lab cleaning.
- Assists in other microbiology, serology, virology, and molecular labs
