Description:
Carry out programmes of care and treatment determined by others. Manages clinical caseload on a day-to-day basis including making minor modifications withinprescribed parameters reporting back to the Clinical Nurse Specialist. Provides advice in relation to the care of individual or groups of patients. Deliver education programmes to patients, carers and other nursing staff as agreed by the Clinical Nurse Specialist.
Act as a role model exploiting at every opportunity to enhance the knowledge of others in issues relating to the specialism. Participates in research and audit as part of the multi-professional team within the specialism. Communicates effectively with colleagues, patients and other users of the Trust. Produces written communications which are clear, fluent, concise and easily understood.
