Join the team at Gold Coast Private Hospital as an Associate Nurse Unit Manager! We’re looking for an experienced professional to bring their skills to our Cath Lab team on a full-time basis. You will play a key role within a supportive team, ensuring exceptional patient care is being delivered.
Established in 2016, Gold Coast Private Hospital is a state-of-the-art, 340-bed facility located in the heart of the Gold Coast Precinct in Southport.
With 22 operating theatres, Gold Coast Private Hospital offers a wide range of specialties including, but not limited to, 24/7 Emergency Care, Medical Services, Orthopaedics, Bariatrics, Neurosurgery, Plastic Surgery, ENT (Ear, Nose, and Throat), General Surgery, Obstetrics, Cardiac Care, and Oncology.

Responsibilities:

AS AN ANUM, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Provide clinical leadership and support to the Cath Lab NUM & Team.
  • Assist with daily operational management and coordination of patient care.
  • Mentor and support nursing staff to enhance clinical skills and professional growth.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and best practice guidelines.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
  • Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and patient safety strategies.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Cath Lab nursing experience.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to support and mentor staff.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Experience in quality improvement initiatives and change management (desirable)
