The role of the Analyst, Accts Payable involves providing financial, administrative and clerical support to the Smurfit WestRock organization. The base of the role is processing, verifying and reconciling invoices. Analyst, Accts Payable’s responsibilities also highlights the day-to-day management of all payment cycle activities in a timely and efficient. manner.

As a vital team member of the finance team, it’s important that an Analyst, Accts Payable job description includes:

• Processing PO and NON-PO invoice including independent proper General Ledger coding selection
• Requesting necessary changes; adding new VM records according to the company policy
• Provide accurate and effective document preparation and records management relative to the AP function in accordance with records retention policies and procedures
• Supporting AP Team in ad-hoc tasks
• Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
• Continuing to improve the AP processes
