Now we’re looking to add a new member to our growing team: someone who is organized, enjoys a fast-paced environment, and thrives on continuous learning. This position is intended to be full-time, however, we would consider part-time as well.

SUCCESS IN THIS ROLE LOOKS LIKE ……

  • A “Service First” mentality. It’s our company slogan and you are driven to support external and internal customers and suppliers with exceptional service. Your professional, pleasant demeanor will reinforce our brand with outside stakeholders.
  • Ability. You have the ability to learn our systems and processes, and to develop skills with software products including Microsoft Office. You will already have good Excel skills, and you’re not afraid of learning new programs and the changes that come with them. You are comfortable working with data uploads and exports, and are able to maintain the integrity of data and information.
  • Knowledge. You will have basic accounting knowledge - such as knowing how/when to post debits and credits, and be able to find your way around a chart of accounts. The knowledge you gain from a bookkeeping certificate would be ideal.
  • Order! You’ll have a personal proven organization system that helps you control your workflow and support your team members. You love creating efficiencies and you are not afraid of change.
  • Tenacity. You’ll catch on to the jobs and routines quickly and you’ll jump in to complete them thoroughly, and in a timely manner with minimum supervision. Curiosity, and personal motivation will spur you on to seek opportunities to make a positive difference. You are also comfortable with asking for help, if required, while you are problem solving. You’ll stay busy all day – and notice how time flies!
  • Communication. Diplomacy with handling supplier expectations and assisting other employees to process complicated processes correctly and consistently will come easily to you.
  • Curiosity. You notice anomalies and inefficiencies and you have a natural desire to investigate and analyze. You can see the payables process holistically, and you can spot issues quickly and provide answers and solutions.
