AP Invoicing Accountant

The NI FSSC AP team is seeking an AP Invoicing Accountant dealing with 3 rd party invoices with good English knowledge, logical thinking and continuous improvement mindset.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

• BSC/MSC Degree in Business/Finance/Accounting - Accounting degree is an advantage
• Qualified Chartered Accountant Certificate is an advantage
• Experience in similar financial field is an advantage
• Experience in multinational environment is an advantage
• Knowledge of another European language is an advantageWorking experience in customer service area is preferable

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

• Performing day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording accounts payable data (processing invoices)
• clearing invoice aging report
• Supporting monthly closing activities
• making VAT decisions
• Supporting the Accounting Team when necessary
• Following-up with the Business Analyst Team in system related questions
• Taking part in projects
• Understand expense accounts and cost centersUnderstands compliance issues around accounts payable processes

FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Understand expense accounts and cost centers
• Understands compliance issues around accounts payable processes
• Excellent communication skills in English
• Good PC skills, preferably using Excel
• Must possess fluent written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principlesProven ability to calculate, post and manage accounting figures and financial records
