We are seeking a learner experience-focused Pedagogy Program Manager to join the Apple Developer Academy team, focusing on programs across APAC. This role is responsible for the management of the Academy, the Foundation, the second year program, and the alumni community. Over a thousand learners are expected to be trained in these programs every year. You will work with Apple’s teachings, operations, and IT teams, as well as local partners, to achieve the vision of “inspiring world class developers”. The Apple Academy Program is an innovative educational program crafted to grow learners to become world class developers proficient in multiple aspects of Coding, UI/UX, Business and marketing, professional skills (collaboration, storytelling, Presentation Skills), analysis, testing and more. DESCRIPTION

  • Manage the learner experience - This includes marketing, the onboarding process up till graduation and beyond. - Assist the Apple Pedagogy Team in managing the relationships with school partners, potential employers, and other local partners. - Be a great partner with Apple internal teams such as Public Relations, Product Marketing, Education, or other departments.. - Supervise, track and report on the progress of classroom and administrative initiatives through detailed project plans. - Orchestrate the coordination of major events such as career fairs, graduations, and VIP or ministry visits. - Lead the collection of evidences of learning, pedagogical data, student stories, and alumni career data. - Be attuned to local voices and advise the Apple pedagogy team of cultural sensitivities and future strategies.

  • 10 years of project or program management experience with learning-related programs.

  • Language proficiency in English and one of the listed: Bahasa Indonesia, Korean, or other languages of the Southeast Asia region.Availability to travel extensively in APAC and internationally.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • A strong understanding and network of the developer landscape in South East Asia, from independent developers to organisation leaders.
  • Proficiency in one or several of Apple app development topics: Coding, Design, App Business, or Professional Skills.
  • Highly organised and ability to meet deadlines, particularly for event management.
  • High quality executional skills, with the ability to influence and lead partners and contractors to deliver at the same level.
  • Ability to foster trust with both internal and external teams.
  • Ability to analyse data, documentation, and communicate key findings to different collaborators.
  • Self-starter mentality who can work individually without direct supervision, and is comfortable with remote management.
