Description:

APAC Regional Legal Counsel (Labour/Employment)
We are engaged by our client who is a global tech in search for a APAC Regional Legal Counsel specialising in Labour/Employment Law.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day counseling on various employment, contingent workforce (CWF) and other HR compliance issues in APAC, including recruiting and hiring, employee management, Contigent workforce management, termination, leaves and benefits, wage and hour, internal HR operation and process, etc.
  • Review, revise and update a variety of employment-related agreements and HR policies, and provide guidance to HR and business teams on implementation.
  • Manage employee equity compensation-related arbitration; advise on equity compensation issues (including plan design, establishment, administration and management).
  • Provide training to internal stakeholders on employment and ESOP issues

Requirements

  • 7 - 14 years post-qualification experience practising employment or equity compensation laws in a large law firm or in-house legal department.
  • Sound experience in APAC employment laws would be a plus.
  • Meaningful experience handling employment litigation/arbitration would be a plus. Experience handling equity compensation-related litigation/arbitration would be a significant plus.
