About Trust & Safety
Building a world where people can safely discover, create and connect. The Trust & Safety (T&S) team at TikTok helps ensure that our global online community is safe and empowered to create and enjoy content across all of our applications. We have invested heavily in human and machine-based moderation to remove harmful content quickly and often before it reaches our general community.
It is possible that this role will be exposed to harmful content as part of the core role/as part of project/ in response to escalation requests/by chance.
This may occur in the form of images, video, and text related to every-day life, but it can also include (but is not limited to) bullying; hate speech; child safety; depictions of harm to self and others, and harm to animals.
About the team
The APAC T&S Site Program Manager supports geographically and functionally distributed employees to promote an inclusive, connected and productive work environment. This role connects employees, improves their collaboration with each other, and streamlines processes to create an environment with a healthier and happier employee experience. The APAC T&S Site Program Manager does this by serving as a central source of information, comprehensively thinking through Site-wide challenges and solutions, and advocating through corporate channels for employees across the APAC Site.
Responsibilities

What will I be doing?

  • You’ll develop and drive execution of site programs and operations, varying lengths, including: organisational planning, budgeting, employee engagement by working with and influencing cross-functional teams at the site and country level;
  • You’ll work on cultivating a sense of local community and culture, and play a central coordination role across all site functions to ensure cross-site cohesion and employee engagement;
  • You’ll proactively identify processes that can be improved and implement solutions in partnership with XFN stakeholders and T&S Site Program Manager counterparts in other global sites;
  • You’ll assist in executing T&S team culture, well-being and people-related programs including facilitating quarterly All Hands meetings, Site-wide communication on various initiatives, team building activities involving all APAC sites, etc;
  • You’ll support APAC T&S management and HR in workplace-related matters to promote collaboration among site members as well as knowledge management documentation where necessary;
  • You’ll partner with various stakeholders in all office improvement & office management projects;
  • You’ll oversee budget planning and establishment of budget management guidelines for T&S-wide initiatives to ensure compliance with finance policies.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

What should I bring with me?

  • You have 3-5 years working experience, ideally within a fact-paced, growth environment;
  • You have a proactive approach and are curious and constantly striving to improve the world around you;
  • You have a strong ability to support programs with the ability to execute at a tactical level;
  • You have a growth mindset due to the fast-paced, ever-changing nature of the TikTok culture, no previous tech industry experience required as we believe diverse, outside industry knowledge is an asset, not a liability;
  • You have experience distilling complex processes and ideas into comprehensive, concise documentation that is easily understood by a variety of audiences, managing budgets and maintaining strong relationships with various stakeholders;
  • You have high attention to detail, yet are able to balance between being result-oriented and process-oriented;
  • You have the ability to work in a high tempo environment, adapt and respond to day-to-day challenges of the role; the resilience and commitment to self-care to manage the emotional demands of the role.
