We are seeking an ambitious and hard-working part-time APF Material Handler Set Up for our Weekend Day Shift (Saturday and Sunday from 23:00 - 1:00). With a starting wage of $28.85/hour plus applicable shift premium, this role offers a competitive edge in professional growth and development.

EDUCATION LEVEL

Required:

  • Ontario Secondary School Diploma or Ontario Grade 12 Equivalency program.
  • Alternatively, a combination of job-specific knowledge, training, and experience is required.

TYPE OF EXPERIENCE

Required:

  • Experience performing repetitive tasks.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, fast-paced work setting.
  • Capability to work in noisy, warm, and wet conditions with heavy lifting involved.
  • Must pass ergonomic assessment to ensure ability to perform essential job duties.

YEARS OF EXPERIENCE

Required:
- 3 - 5 years

  • Must pass ERGO testing due to the physical nature of the job.
  • Experience with equipment and tools such as piping, nozzles, counters, scales, hand carts, System AS400, BMTS, and EBR.

Responsibilities:

  • Set up and adjust the Filling line equipment to ensure flawless operation.
  • Troubleshoot and perform minor repairs on APF, Rovema, and Truck Loader equipment.
  • Conduct set up, tear down, and cleaning of Filling Equipment including piping, nozzles, counters, and scales.
  • Perform cleaning and sanitization tasks, and move trucks and materials as necessary.
  • Complete the line clearance process as necessary, ensuring adherence to all protocols.
  • Assist operators when machines go down to swiftly resolve issues.
  • Receive and verify components at Fill, managing the handling and storage of materials efficiently.
  • Ensure the line is equipped with the necessary materials, equipment, and staffing to adhere to the daily schedule.
  • Assist on the line to maintain smooth and effective operations.
  • Ensure seamless flow of materials and parts throughout the process.
  • Substitute for the Supervisor as needed, demonstrating leadership and problem-solving skills.
  • Perform additional Filling duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the team.
